Who We Are
Ionis AI was founded by Josh, an automation specialist who spent years watching B2B businesses waste time on manual processes that had no business being done by hand.
The pattern was always the same. Smart teams, good products, real ambition — held back by repetitive admin, disconnected tools, and workflows that depended entirely on people remembering to do things. Cold outreach done manually. Invoices sent late. CRM data nobody trusted. Reports that took hours to build every week.
The solution was not more software. Every business already has enough software. The solution was connecting what they already had, automating what follows a predictable pattern, and building systems that run in the background while the team focuses on work that actually requires them.

How We Work
We are not a large agency with account managers and project coordinators between you and the person doing the work. When you work with Ionis AI, you work directly with Josh. Faster decisions, clearer communication, no briefing chain.
We start with the problem
Every engagement starts with a discovery call where we understand what you actually do, where the friction is, and what a successful outcome looks like. We do not pitch a service before we understand whether it is the right fit.
We build to your stack, not ours
We use Make, n8n, Zapier, direct API integrations, and custom code depending on what the problem requires. We work with the tools you already use rather than asking you to migrate to something new.
You own what we build
No proprietary systems. No ongoing licence fees to access your own automation. Everything is documented and handed over so your team understands how it works and you are never dependent on us to keep it running.
We tell you honestly if it is not worth building
Not every idea is a good candidate for automation. If the discovery call reveals that the build cost would not justify the time saved, we will tell you. We would rather lose a project than deliver something that does not deliver value.

Our Approach to AI
We use AI where it adds genuine value, not because it is impressive.

We do not automate decisions that require genuine human judgement. We do not remove humans from processes where their involvement matters. The goal is to make the people using these systems more effective, not to replace them entirely.
